We all enjoyed a nice four day weekend, no work for either of us. We got to spend much quality time with Audrey. Thanksgiving was at Brent's parents house and my parents came too which was really nice. It was very low key and I liked it. This is the first Thanksgiving weekend in 6 years of being a mortician that I have not worked, so I had to get to bed early and pick my mom up at 5am for shopping Friday morning. It was actually really fun and I loved, I got a ton of clothes for Audrey. I was home by 10am.
Saturday we had lunch with Heidi and Lucy, we had not seen them in so long, almost a month. It was great to catch up. Brent and I went to the movie Role Models Sat. night, it was funny. Today my mom and I baked cookies for the holiday season and Audrey even helped a little. We got our house all decked out for Christmas, it looks great. Brent even bowled a 211 today, highest score of the bowling season, woo hoo!

Swimming
Audrey went for her first swim tonight with Natalie, she was not digging the cold water, she lasted about two minutes before wanting out of there. It really was a cold hotel pool. Natalie could not get enough of the water, purple lips and all, it was fun! Mindy, Jon and Natalie invited us to swim with them while they were here for Thanksgiving. We had a great time.

Glad the weekend is over
Brent and Audrey spent all weekend together, that is what happens when I have a busy weekend at work. Last night, although I had not seen Audrey all day really, we decided to go out bowling and out for supper with my parents and Brent's parents hung out with Audrey. I missed my little lady, but I think Brent needed some time away and he bowled his highest game yet, 192. He can't wait to go to league on Tuesday and brag it up.
Brent gave Audrey plenty of exersaucer time over the weekend, this picture cracks me up her legs and her funny smile, she is so funny.

Soooooooooooo Tired
This is how I felt all day, I am exhausted. I was on call last night and was up all night with four deaths, ugghhhh, it was a long night of working and I missed the best part of the day. Waking Audrey up in the morning is so much fun because she is so happy and smiley in the morning, I missed her. Brent took care of the two of them this morning, he almost forgot to take care of himself actually. He called me on their way to daycare and told me about their morning. He got Audrey all dressed and was starting to get her in her carseat before he realized he was still in his pajamas and needed to dress himself, ha, this cracked me up. So, finally when they were both ready Audrey decided to spit up all over him and herself, but they were running late, so they both headed out the way they were. I loved that they called me to fill me in on what I missed.

4 Months
Audrey is now 4 months old! We have her new stats from the doctor today, she now weighs 17 lbs 12 ounces and is 26 1/4 inches long. She is in the 99th percentile for height and weight but only 88th for her head size. She was a real trooper with the 3 shots she got today, especially when mom and dad forgot her pacifier, poor girl.
She is learning so many things, when sitting in her seat now she is always leaning forward wanting to sit up more to check out what's going on. She loves rolling over onto her tummy, but hasn't figured out how to roll back yet. She laughs and gives out tons of smiles with her cute little dimple. She grabs for objects and can pick up toys on her own now. She is learning so much each and every day. You can see her in the picture below grabbing for her frog that plays music, one night while we ate supper she played the frog song about 6 times in a row, it was hilarious. We are having so much fun being parents, Audrey is the best. She is working on her Christmas list now, she is pumped for her first Christmas!

Those crazy cats
I don't think I ever told the story about when we put Audrey to bed in her crib and were hanging out in the living room and could heard Tina meowing and realized we were hearing her meowing over the monitors. Brent went into Audrey's room and there was Tina sitting in the corner of the crib and Audrey was just staring at her, it was pretty funny, but thank goodness for monitors.
