We were so busy this weekend, it was wonderful. The weather was awesome and we spent plenty of time outside. Saturday we walked to the Farmer's Market for the first time this season. It's great to live closer so we are able to walk. I had the best scone ever! I am looking forward to going back again for another one:) We headed to Rochester to attend my cousin Luke's graduation party, it was fun to hang out with family. This party was the ultimate graduation party with a live band and all. I think our favorite part was the ice cream machine, we hit it up a couple times. Great Grandma Vic rode home with us, Audrey always loves a friend riding in the back seat with her.
Sunday Heidi and Lucy came over and the girls played and Audrey shared her new car that Grandpa Wood made, I have to post pictures, it's pretty sweet. Audrey even shared her bike with Lucy, it was incredibly hard to do, but she managed. I then took Audrey out to the lake to visit Great Grandma Asleson. She had a blast with Brent's family. I kept her out way past nap time. It's hard to leave when you are enjoying chex mix and a juice box.
Today we watched the Mankato 10K run and cheered all the runners on and then went and visited our old neighbors. My mom and I enjoyed a walk through the cemetery and then we had a great supper on the deck while Curt, Christine and Sebastian were down in Mankato. We ended it with a walk to McDonald's for ice cream, yummers.
Now we are looking forward to next weekend when my brother and April come home, it's been two years since we have seen them, so it's Audrey's first time meeting them, we are super excited.

Hot, Hot, Hot!
It was a HOT weekend, wow. I can't believe it's only May. We did play outside a lot though, I was thinking we could have even got the pool out.

Bloggy Pals
Saturday we got together at our house to hang out with some blogging friends. We feel like we know each other so well through our blogs but not everyone had actually met in person. The kids got along so well, no real toy struggles or anything. It was a blast and we will have to do it again for sure.

Alec=Vampire
Now that Audrey can communicate a bit more we asked her recently, "Who bites you?" She replied, "Alec". So, Alec is a boy in her class so we may have just figured out who the vampire in the toddler room is.

Elmo
Audrey and her Elmo, she loves Elmo and usually hauls him around by his eyeballs. He is Tickle Me Elmo and she hates it when he is on and he rolls around and laughs. She prefers just carrying him around. Audrey has never been a huge fan of Sesame Street, but she has always liked Elmo. She couldn't name any other characters on the show.

Audrey Coming!
Everything is Audrey, Audrey, Audrey these days! Everything she says she says Audrey first, so here are some examples: Audrey shoes, Audrey socks, Audrey chair, Audrey swing, Audrey books, Audrey help, Audrey do. You get the idea. Now if you ask her to do something, she yells out "Audrey coming", "Audrey coming". It's so hilarious. She is so serious about it too. It's hard not to laugh.

Fun filled day
What a wonderful day it was! We had Sebastian's dedication today at Curt and Christine's church, it was a great service. We really loved their church and Audrey was super good throughout the service. We had a wonderful meal afterwards and enjoyed hanging out with everyone.
Before we even got to church this was Audrey's tights when we pulled into Curt and Christines driveway, serious blowout.
We have been doing some serious yard work in our back yard this spring. The yard was a mess, but we also wanted to get it in order for this new swing set for Audrey. She is loving the slide. We still have lots to do as you can see in the pictures below. We need more dirt and some wood chips to fill it out. Our back yard has come a long way, now if I can just find the before pictures.
