Today Grandpa Wood picked up Audrey for a ride behind the bike, it was super comfortable and she feel asleep. The only thing is the helmet fell over her face for the whole ride. We did find out that infants don't need the helmet in the bike trailer until they are a little older, so it will be much better next time.Sunday, March 29, 2009
So relaxing!
Today Grandpa Wood picked up Audrey for a ride behind the bike, it was super comfortable and she feel asleep. The only thing is the helmet fell over her face for the whole ride. We did find out that infants don't need the helmet in the bike trailer until they are a little older, so it will be much better next time.

I never thought about a helmet in the bike trailer. How old should they be before they need a helmet, did you find out? And where did you find one so small?

After looking at the picture, Bev informed me that I did not strap Audrey in properly! The red bib is supposed to be turned around with part of it behind the helmet to keep it out and up. So I can't wait to try it again (with Bev there instructing). I would really like to see her in the helmet so she gets used to having it on. By the way the helmet and the bike trailer were purchesed at Gear West bike in Long Lake. It's a wonderful store (worth the trip) with very helpful and knowledable staff, especially the young man who waited on us (Ask for Curt)!!
So cute! I'm a little slow, but I just noticed that Audrey and I have the same middle name, spelled the same and all! That's a first for me. :)
