So relaxing!

Today Grandpa Wood picked up Audrey for a ride behind the bike, it was super comfortable and she feel asleep. The only thing is the helmet fell over her face for the whole ride. We did find out that infants don't need the helmet in the bike trailer until they are a little older, so it will be much better next time.

Whew, what a night

Tonight we went out for supper and to the mall to walk around. We got home and realized that neither of us brought our house keys, so we are locked out of our house at 8:30 p.m. with a hungry tired baby. Thank goodness our house is for sale and one of the realtors came to our rescue and let us in our house. We sat out front of our house in the mini van feeding Audrey while waiting for the realtor to come, it was classic.

Deck Project

The last 4 days have been spent tearing off our old rotten deck and putting on a brand new one. The deck was super rotten and last summer was a little busy and all with having a baby, we just didn't find time to replace it. Now with our house on the market it needed to be done, so the first nice weekend we took advantage. It is looking super nice, we just have the railing and some steps to finish up. Thanks to our dads for coming over to help out all weekend and to Nate for visiting his grandma down the street and stopping over and deciding to stick around and help, we really appreciated it. We were hoping for a weekend with no house showings just to get this project underway and of course we had two showings, which we are not going to turn down, it was just a little inconvenient.

Our old rotten deck.

Wow, we were walking on that.

The guys hard at work. Check out that new deck!

Audrey loves covering up her face and then we say, "Where is Audrey?"

Then she starts to take the blanket off her face,

Blue Day?

Blue day turned into brown day today. Audrey had a bit of a blowout at daycare, so no picture today in the blue clothes. Tomorrow however is pink and purple day, so we have lots of deciding to do, too many options:)

Okay, now what?

Audrey is so close to crawling we think, this is what she does and collapses.

She prefers getting her own toys out of the toy box now, she basically takes all toys out and she definately prefers the books. She has a new tooth on the top. her first top tooth, it's off to the side, a fang you might say.

Brent loves this picture, he said it's his favorite by far, she woke up after getting home and just laid like this.

I'm Back!

I have returned from my voyage to Mexico and I am happy to be back. I had a lot of fun, but a week is a long time to be gone from my baby girl and husband. I missed them like crazy and the hard part about this vacation was the fact that I could not just call home every night to see how things were going. I did get to email two of the days because I found cheap internet service on land so I had 15 minutes for $2. I checked the blog and saw that Brent was doing an excellent time blogging and taking care of Audrey. I truely did not have to worry so much because he is such an awesome dad and Audrey was lucky to have a week with just him:) Sounds like they had tons of fun. I got tons of sun and enjoyed some exploring, but Mexico is not my favorite place to be, it was a little dirty I thought. The cruise ship was awesome besides the fact that about 100 or so people had the flu and were spreading it around the ship like crazy, made for an interesting time, thank goodness nobody in our group got sick. I would love to go on a cruise some time with Brent. It is an amazing way to take a vacation and I am so lucky to have gone on this trip.

My boss Gayla standing by the ship in Mazatlan.

A whale tail on the Whale watching adventure in Cabo San Lucas.

Our ship, the Oosterdam, anchored in Cabo.

Here we are learning what to do in case the ship sinks. The most important tip, warm clothes and comfortable shoes, ha. I am sure that is what I would be thinking about.

Leaving San Diego.

The Brent Wood Travel group that was sailing with us.

Sarah, me, and Gayla in the Northern Lights Night Club, we hung out there a couple nights.

Enjoying a nice cold pina colada by the pool after the Walk for the Cure 5K (nine laps around the boat).

Gayla and I enjoying the salsa we made in Mazatlan.

The cemetery in Puerto Vallarta that we found so incredibly interesting on our off road bike adventure. It is so different than in the US.

The grocery store in the small village that we toured on our bike ride.

The street through the small village. It was amazing to see the conditions the people live in.

All of the police we saw carried machine guns.

On the dock in Cabo San Lucas. This was by far my favorite place we visited on the cruise, much cleaner than any of the other ports.

A heated game of scrabble with Ben, Sarah and Gayla.

Formal night on the cruise with our waiters Fredy and Reza. They made our dining experience the best, we enjoyed every night.
