Pushing my own stroller down the trail.

Sporting hot new shoes.

Trying to hide from Audrey, I don't think it's working Thor.

Neighbors

Have I ever talked about our neighbors? We could not have picked better neighbors. We are loving our new street that we live on. I cannot even begin to count the things that people have brought to us to welcome us to the neighborhood. Cookies, banana bread, zucchini cake, fudge, apples, more cookies. It's been incredible, it maybe has something to do with the fact that everyone is so excited since our house sat empty for two years, they are just happy to have someone living in this house again. It's a mixture of retired people and a few families with kids. A few little girls, so Audrey is sure to have some neighborhood friends. One little eleven year old boy came over with his mom and told us he just got certified in babysitter training, ha, I think we'll wait a few years to have him over to watch Audrey. It was incredibly cute. His mom didn't think he was quite ready to watch a one year old.

We love being on a cul de sac, it's really quiet, no traffic, we can even play out in the street.

We feel so welcomed on this new street of ours:)

Happy Grandparents Day!

Audrey wanted to make a shout out to the best grandparents ever!

Barrettes

Audrey's hair is getting so long in the front, but I really don't want to get it cut, so we found some fun clips to keep it out of her eyes. If you click on the picture you will notice all of her battle scars from the weekend, she took many diggers this weekend.

Old Times

Now that we have our computer back and hooked up at our new house I couldn't resist searching through old pictures, these here are two classics.

Miss Independant

Lately when we make supper Audrey will spend a few minutes on her own playing which is so nice. Of course it usually is time spent looking at her new books. Even if it's upside down, she doesn't mind.

Railing

This was definately the hardest project of the entire house. We can thank Doug for this, he did pretty much the entire railing by himself. We are so happy with how it turned out and never imagined we could get it done in two weeks. It's exactly what we wanted.

This is not a great picture of it, but you can see how nice it looks.

Bathroom

I know what you are thinking, why would you want to get rid of that gorgeous wallpaper?

This yellow color turned out a bit brighter than I was hoping for, but the bathroom does not have a window, so we thought it definately brightens it up.

Master Bedroom

Our bedroom was all wallpapered with textured wallpaper that had been painted. We love the new look, besides the mess that still needs to be put away.

Kitchen

The kitchen had yellow flowered wallpaper before and we painted a chocolate milk color, we love it. Now some new lighting in the kitchen and it will be perfect. We are not fans of the light fixture.

Basement

I am trying to do before and afters and it keeps putting pictures in the wrong order, so I will do them individually. We painted the paneling in the basement and it made a ton of difference, much lighter.

A much needed week away

We had such a nice, relaxing time in Cable, WI staying at a cabin with Brent's family. Audrey had a blast playing at the park a couple times a day, taking her first boat ride, walking all over the place, and taking super great naps. It was just what we all needed before moving day. Here is a bunch of random pictures from our week.

The weather was absolutely perfect on our vacation, but the water was still cold.

Audrey could not get enough of this slide.

She is so into reading now, she would grab a book and look around to find the best person for reading that book, she picked Grandma a lot:)

Lunch on the pontoon.

Enjoying about two minutes in the life jacket.
