Weekend Happenings

Friday night we enjoyed some swim time at the YMCA with Jason, Heidi, and Lucy. Audrey had a blast. Saturday Heidi and Lucy joined Audrey and I for a trip to the Outlet Mall, we scored clothes big time for the girls. Saturday night Brent and I were supposed to go snowboarding, but it was raining. We figured since his parents were coming over to hang out with Audrey anyway we decided to go to a movie and out for supper. Audrey was in a horrible mood when we left her, but I guess she had a great time modeling swimsuits for Grandpa and Grandma.


Grandpa helped her get her suit on over her clothes, nice look.

Even better is when she put her head through the leg of my swimsuit.

They ended their fun night with reading some books and off to sleep right before we got home.

Today we enjoyed the afternoon hanging out with Curt, Christine and Sebastian. Christine went to get a haircut so I got to feed Seb. Can you tell who might have been a little jealous?

Big Helper

Lately Audrey has been really happy to just help us do whatever we are doing, she helped Brent clean potatoes for some soup, she helps clear out the dishwasher and sets everything on the counter, and she loves to help carry in groceries.

Daddy, Daddy, Daddy

The last couple days Audrey has wanted nothing to do with Mom, it's all about Dad. I cannot help her with anything, dad has to help. Dad has to help her go potty, dad has to put her socks on her, dad has to help her get a pony tail in the morning, dad has to read her books at night before bed. Tonight Brent had bowling and I took her out for a bit and when we got home she just kept repeating, Daddy, Daddy, Daddy. This morning I told her I was leaving and she just said, "Bye". What happened with being upset about me leaving, I guess it's a good thing, but it makes me a little sad that she doesn't really need me right now. It's fun to see her liking her Daddy so much though too:)

Why the Boots?

It was beach day at school today, but Audrey had to wear her boots because she put her foot in the toilet and got her shoe wet, whoopsie!

Really, I can do this!

I bought some new clothes for Audrey for this summer and she was so pumped that she immediately took off her pants and wanted to try on these awesome new plaid bermuda shorts:) These days she is really into trying to dress herself. Usually not too successful, but she keeps on trying and it actually occupies her for quite some time.

Weekend away!

Brent and I enjoyed a nice weekend away in Duluth. It's strange to be away from Audrey for an entire weekend, but yet it was so nice and relaxing. We needed a weekend like this:) We enjoyed some great suppers out in Duluth and skiing at Spirit Mountain all day on Saturday. It was incredibly awesome weather for February, my feet didn't even get cold, which is amazing!

Friday night we went to our favorite place, Little Angie's Cantina Mexican Restaurant and then Sat. went with our ski lift friends idea and tried India Palace. We loved it and it was a place we never would have went to without his recommendation. We enjoyed some hot tub time with some interesting people and just relaxed some and watched the Olympics. Audrey had fun splitting up her weekend with all the grandparents.


We ended our weekend with a little time with Seb and Curt and Christine. We realized this was our only pic of the weekend.
